Everyone in the real estate business has been talking about drone video and photography in real estate.  Like most topics in my industry, I have an opinion about their use.

Drones in Venice FL real estate


The only question one should ask (as a property owner or Realtor) when considering drone use (when and if it becomes available), is will the end result produce a sale?

I don't think so, in most cases involving residential real estate.  While I provide a basic video walk-through of a property for sale, and offer a full complement of high quality photos, the fact is that most Realtors haven't mastered these more basic tools that actually do sell a property.

    I don't think the goal of aerial imagery is to sell a house. It it to get the listing in order to sell the house.

New Sarasota County Flood Maps

Sarasota County has come out with new flood zone maps that have everyone talking. Take a look at how the new preliminary flood zones affect the South Venice area: South Venice FL flood map The darker green shows the existing FEMA AE zone, and the lighter green shade shows the preliminary changes to the 2016 AE flood zone. If your home was re-zoned into a high risk area, there are steps you can take to mitigate flood insurance costs. Distance to the Beach | Palmer Ranch | Sarasota FL

Are there homes in Palmer Ranch the same distance to a beach, as a home located east of I-75?  Yes, they do exist.  You'll be surprised to know that both Toscana Isles and Willow Chase are almost the exact same distance to Nokomis Beach .
