The Bay Point neighborhood in Nokomis, FL may not be specifically on a lot of home buyer's short lists, but it's worth a tour. Homes in Bay Point offer a lot of choice in price.  You can get a canal or waterfront home in the $1 million plus range, or you can buy a more modestly priced home on an interior lot from the high $100's. A new boat ramp has opened in the Nokomis/Osprey area that area boaters will appreciate. The new boat ramp is in what is called the "East Node" of Blackburn Point Park The boat ramp is located in the newly-opened Blackburn Point Park, on Blackburn Point Road in Nokomis.  The facility covers 15 acres near the iconic Casey Key north bridge.  Besides the boat ramp, amenities include a kayak launch, fishing piers, picnic area, and nature trail.
